Location

Climate
Uttaranchal is divided into two main regions: hilly terrain and plain region. In the plains, the summers are hot and winters can be very cold. Winters in hilly terrain sees heavy snowfall. The temperature in winters can go below 5?C, the monsoon is characterized by heavy rainfall, and the summers are hot with temperature going over? 40?C.
